Hello, my name is Dimitry Zhygir. I started my own company, New York Home Inspections (NYHI), with a few different goals. First, I wanted to educate everyone about their homes and design my reports to serve as home manuals. It is also in my nature to locate any imperfections in houses to create complete and honest reports. Second, as an organized person I knew I could create a successful company, treating my team with the utmost respect and appreciation. Third, is to grow my business across NYC and Long Island to become one of the most recognized and trusted names in the industry. Over the last few years I’ve built NYHI a 5 star reputation which is something I’m incredibly proud about!
I am certified as a Professional Inspector by InterNachi and also licensed in New York State. I want my clients to know that when they pick NYHI for their home inspections, they are picking a company that puts diligence and determination at the fore front.
Thank you for trusting me to provide the quality service for you and your family deserve. I am here for you 24 / 7, 365 days a year.

Hello, my name is Jonah Torreano, and I am proud to be part of the New York Home Inspections team. As a New York State Licensed Home Inspector, my primary focus is to deliver thorough, balanced, and precise evaluations that give our clients total clarity when navigating a property.
Every home is a complex blend of building materials, mechanical systems, and structural components. I approach each inspection with a meticulous eye for detail, focusing on how these individual systems operate together over time. Rather than relying on simple checklists, I take the time to carefully evaluate the condition of a property’s mechanicals, structural elements, and materials so that you receive an accurate, complete picture of the home.
I believe that a great inspection should educate and reassure, not overwhelm. My goal is to break down technical findings into clear, practical insights, ensuring you feel completely supported and confident in your decisions. Whether we are walking through a property together or reviewing the final report, I am dedicated to providing the reliable guidance and honest service you deserve.
My name is Jeffrey Alvarez, I am certified EPA Lead Paint Inspector, and it has been over five years in the Environmental field going on now. We perform lead testing all over the 5-borough daily in city units, private houses, schools, and factories.
We use certified handheld XRF radioactive machine which is a non-destructive method for detecting and measuring lead in paint to measure the lead content in paint in each unit.
Lead inspection is critical because exposure to lead can cause severe health issues, particularly in children and pregnant individuals. Lead poisoning can lead to developmental delays, learning difficulties, and even damage to vital organs such as the heart and kidneys. By identifying and mitigating Lead hazards, inspections not only ensure compliance with health and safety regulations but also create safer living and working environments for communities.
New York Home Inspections is a trusted company serving from 2018. We inspect all kinds of homes, providing 5-star service, every time. We are proud to make our clients happy with a perfect balance of service and fair pricing.
Our Certified Professional Inspectors perform thorough inspections because we put your family’s safety as a top priority. We love hearing your specific concerns and encourage you to be present during the home inspection.
